Description

Ariolo have a tough, almost leathery skin that is usually a dark grey or brown in color. They have angular heads that slope upwards from a low forehead to the rear of the cranium. The jaw is angled down so that the mouth, which reverses the angular pattern to slope upward away from the line of the jaw and forehead, protrudes slightly away from the face.

From the waist down they have centaur-like torsos. Supporting their bodies are 4 legs that end in a foot with even thicker leather like skin. This foot more closely resembles a terran camels foot than anything else.

They prefer to wear dark colored robes. As decoration they wear metallic badges or symbols that reflect their position and authority within their society. They also tend to wear a hooded cloak over it all with the hood covering the back half of their head.

Physiology

They have a peculiar physiology with a number of internal back up systems. In effect two of every major organ and subsystems that regulate any excess equally between the two organs. As a result they tend to be very healthy. They also have an extremely aggressive immune system.

Psychology

They don't tend to get excited. Seldom if ever acting in anything but a calm manner regardless of the situation.

They have a very ridgid society. Everyone works for the betterment of their people and the planet as a whole. They are assigned jobs based on testing that determines their natural skills and abilities.

The only form of art that they use can be found in their construction. All buildings, structures, facilities ot furniture have smooth flowing lines. They also are covered with lines that curve and sweep about to form pleaseing geometric designs. Corners are totally unknown in their construction.

Customs

Technology

While they are fairly advanced they are slightly behind most of the other member worlds of the Federation. This does not seem to concern them and they tend to take an extremely long time examineing and experimenting with new technology before they start useing it.

Economy

They have an excellent trade system with many of the member worlds of the Federation. They are one of the main exporters of trillium.

Military

They have no military force of their own relying on the Federation to keep their world safe. They do have a police force but it is mainly in place to control and watch over visitors to their world.
