To look at her you would never guess that Jordan Stone's paternal grandmother was Betazoid. Having some Betazoid heritage, she does possess a weak empathic ability. Her real gift, however, is being able to teach children, and instill in them the desire to learn. Ever since she was a young child, Jordan was excited about school.
