Hi Heath, I put a link on the Challenger menu for Marine Weaponry and Equipment. Can it all be combined on one page or do you want separate links? Toni 15:33, 5 September 2007 (CDT)

Starbase Marines

Great Work on starting to establish the Starbase's NPC Marine Section. Some good characters. If you want to start working on infrastructure (facilities/ equipment etc.) go right ahead and feel free to post on my talk page if you want a hand/ need to check something.

External Links

Just a heads up that hyperlinks work slightly differently from internal wiki links. Whereas an internal wiki link code might be something like [[Cadets Area|Apply here]], and external link only requires one set of brackets and a space between the url and the text that covers it, so [http://www.starbase118.net/cadets Apply here] gives Apply here - Lt. Oh, and Talk:StarBase 118 Ops Crew may be of interest if you're bored and have some time on your hands :) - Lt. Salak Talk 15:24, 7 June 2008 (EDT)
By the way, part of why I haven't made the Indy or Tiger rosters of the sortable type is cos it's a pain to keep the code up to date and correct. The normal layout is easier to maintain. You can see a few of my experiments here. - Lt. Salak Talk 15:46, 7 June 2008 (EDT)
Oh, and if that footer catches your interest, currently existing variants are Template:Indy-A Crew, Template:RoninCrew, Template:ConstitutionBCrew and Template:Tiger Crew. - Lt. Salak Talk 15:49, 7 June 2008 (EDT)
There was already Template:Sb118crew which could have been edited, so the footer is duplicated in two different styles at the mo. You might also want to check the column widths for the "Science" table on the roster. Other than that, looks good to me :) - Lt. Salak Talk 17:32, 7 June 2008 (EDT)
Had a peek earlier, looking good :) - Lt. Salak Talk 07:54, 8 June 2008 (EDT)
Well there's no reason Marines can't have a table of their own, like at Independence-A Non-Playing Character Listing (second from bottom). Um... If you're unsure about the roster being up to date, possibly compare it to the UPDS? Ops is here. Also, possibly ask the command staff, as they would know of any changes first. Can't think of anything else off hand. - Lt. Salak Talk 08:04, 8 June 2008 (EDT)

Is someone trying to work out how my sig is done? :D - Lt. Salak Talk 12:03, 8 June 2008 (EDT)

To get my sig, I go to "My preferences" top right, then in the "Nickname" box (which prob has [[User:Heath|Heath]]</nwowiki> in your case), I have the code <nowiki>[[User:Salak|<font color="maroon">Lt. Salak</font>]][[Image:Nav-PhoenixC.jpg|30px|USS Tiger]]<i>[[User talk:Salak|Talk]]</i> which replaces the first chunk before the timestamp in my sig, as this: Lt. Salak Talk 12:10, 8 June 2008 (EDT)
...Apart from the fact that your talk link after the date stamp linked to my talk page, not yours, before I corrected it? ;p - Lt. Salak Talk 12:18, 8 June 2008 (EDT)

Oh, and as for things to do on the wiki, there is always something that can be done. Is your profile up to date? Your posting's Crew History? Can any of the related pages be improved? (If not, nominated them for promotion), how is the duty post section on your department? Are there any former ships which you can work on, improve our records on the history of parts of the group? Plenty to do if you know where to look :) - Lt. Salak Talk 12:17, 8 June 2008 (EDT)
