Timeline
- born in 2359 in the area of Boston/MA, Earth
- taken into social care and raised by foster parents from the age of 2
- proves an excellent example for the functioning social system of the federation: lived in a loving home and also went by the name of Evan Stirling for some periods during his life
- went into shipping & cargo business after school
- fascinated with space very early on, but never saw himself in the actual fleet
- after the death of his parents he went to work in more isolated outposts, dealing with cargo and rations of all sorts for different clients
- learned a lot of languages, read a lot, got used to being on his own a lot of the time, even though he worked with a lot of different people, species and parties
- in his mid 30s he still hadn't really settled anywhere for more than a few years, decided to apply for the academy out of sheer impulse
- got accepted as a cadet to his own surprise and in the following years deepened his knowledge in languages and communicational strategies
- majored in intelligence, minored in com/ops
- even though he works with languages, he's more of a listener, an easygoing colleague and not a very demanding person
