COUNSELOR REPORT: SD Unknown
  • Condition: Shock
  • Counselor: Elaysian Mental Health Services
  • Counselor Notes: A government appointed counselor was called out to patients house due to reports of abuse of three teen girls. No notes could be given as patient refused to talk. Medical officer reported shock as an unfit state to process what happened. At this time authorities are not needing a counseling session for report. Patient may see another counselor, of any type, as seen fit to talk about what happened.
  • Medical Notes: No medication was prescribed.
COUNSELOR REPORT: SD 239701.22
  • Condition: No diagnosis at this time but it is starting to become clear that she's had some passed abuse.
  • Counselor: Counselor Malko; Person with which conversation is held[1]
  • Counselor Notes: The appointment was originally set up to talk about Sheila Bailey's feelings from the last mission however it turned into her reviling information about her Uncle. These feeling reveled that her Uncle was manipulative and veil. Malko seemed to have an understanding that Bailey was holding back; while they talk they were bringing up a sensitive subject.
    • Bailey - "And you're a cherry blossom. You're about to bloom. You look so pretty, but you're gone so soon… It’s something my uncle would always say to me."
    • Malko - "Doctor, you're a more than capable woman. It would be easy to leave the post - drop out of Starfleet, and pursue something more quiet. Yet, you've elected to leave home and enroll in rigorous studies to take up a demanding job. You knew it wouldn't be easy, and you still made the decision. If that's not strength - then I don't know what is. You have refused to settle and decided your narrative thus far, what's holding you back now?"
    • Malko - "I want you to take it easy, continue your duties but be mindful to take the time you need to work on yourself - alone or with company. Keep in mind the things we talked about today, and digest them."
  • Medical Notes: No medication was prescribed at this time.
COUNSELOR REPORT: SD 239704.07
  • Condition: After her first away mission Sheila feels a need to talk with First Officer Nijil
  • Counselor: First Officer Nijil; Person with which conversation is held.[2]
  • Counselor Notes: In this conversation between crew member and First Officer Sheila reveled a bit more of what her Uncle did to her. She didn't want a professional view on the matter at this time. She mentions that she was manipulated as well the fact that her Uncle left a physical scar. This was all before the conversation turned to how she would cope with mission.
    • Nijil - "I won’t tell you everything is going to be fine, or that you find yourself in a nasty predicament. But what I can say, is that you already have all the gumption needed to make things better for yourself, and to be able to keep moving forward."
  • Medical Notes: No medication was prescribed at this time.
COUNSELOR REPORT: SD 239706.22
  • Condition: When down on planet to rid it of a deadly gas Sheila developed feelings of panic over the situation. Unwanted thoughts about her Uncle also came up.
  • Counselor: Captain Sal Taybrim; They held the conversation off the record. [3]
  • Counselor Notes: Sheila spoke with Sal in an attempt to figure out where she went next. Taybrim was also the next of her COs that she felt needed to know. While they talked she revealed that she had a small white scar on her upper back as well as the fact that she was scared to leave Starfleet. Near the end of the conversation Sal and Sheila talked about next steps that could be taken; safe spaces and therapy animal/service dog.
    • Taybrim - "You do have the ability to change quarters. And there are several choices of safe spaces within the commercial center. There is a spa that is owned and operated by an Elasyian woman who suffered abuse in her younger years and opens her space up to any citizen – women in particular, who are feeling vulnerable. The Bajoran temple has two Prylars who are open to any citizens of any faith in need of support. Our counselling offices also have specifically space spaces in a variety of set ups, everything from very stimulating to very calming for crewmembers to release tensions and take some time away."
    • Taybrim - "I do think it is possible and I can get you in contact with one of the trainers for service animals on the Starbase."
    • Taybrim - "A well trained animal will follow command and be easy to keep nearby even when you are in different rooms for work purposes. You may even find the animal becomes an asset for recovery work with certain patients – but always check with the patient first, make sure they do not have allergies and gain permission from them to bring the dog in. But I know research shows that for certain patients being able to interact with a compassionate animal improves recovery."
  • Medical Notes: No medication was prescribed at this time.
