Don't Forget the Edit Summary!
Just enter a short description in the "Summary" box above the "Save Page" button when you're submitting changes to a page. It helps everyone see when specific changes were made to each page :) --Capt Nicholotti/talk page 03:09, 10 October 2012 (UTC)
Hey, no NPC kidnapping!
Just kidding. :P I only regret not including Loupaz in a sim since you've been away from the Mercury... given her a new hobby or something.
Say hi to Dave/Tan for me! –Rich(talk page) aka Lt.Cmdr. Rahman/MCpt. Kadosh 20:20, 2 April 2013 (UTC)
FBC Team badge
Hi Deliera! Although you are not an active team member right now, there is no rule that says you must remove the FBC team badge once you become an inactive team member. Your character page remains an impressive example for others and remains listed on both the main FBC listing of featured articles and the FBC team listing itself. Hope all is well! –Rich(talk page) aka Lt.Cmdr. Rahman/MCpt. Kadosh 03:50, 2 July 2013 (CDT)
Agreed! You should still have the badge displayed - once you've served on the FBC team for three months, the badge is yours to keep and you definitely did that! Diego Herrera (talk) 17:10, 13 October 2013 (CDT)
LOAs on Roster Page
Hi there, Deliera! I put the LOAs back on the Avandar roster page because we want that information to be available when it is transcluded into the larger Fleet Roster for easier personnel tracking purposes (since the Fleet Roster now serves in the same capacity as the UPDS for the general membership). By having the LOA info on the main roster page (and thus the Fleet Roster page), members can easily verify their LOA remains current. –Rich(talk page) aka Lt.Cmdr. Rahman/MCpt. Kadosh 16:14, 2 December 2013 (CST)
- Also, you or someone on your crew can help expand the functionality of this feature by noting when the LOA began for the individual member under "Status". Cheers! –Rich(talk page) aka Lt.Cmdr. Rahman/MCpt. Kadosh 16:37, 2 December 2013 (CST)
Face List
I can't claim all the credit. Someone else on the Garuda crew was keeping an eye on it, and I just updated some more names after they sent an OOC message. I think posting a thread about the Face List is a good idea! –Rich(talk page) aka Lt.Cmdr. Rahman 13:43, 10 January 2014 (CST)
2collars
They really do look good! I saw the one on Sabor and had to have one for myself :) Lt. JG James (talk) 16:58, 10 January 2014 (CST)

Perhaps an easier way to do the rest of the set would be to just make the blank version of the other side and then load the two graphics side by side. –Rich(talk page) aka Lt.Cmdr. Rahman 17:15, 10 January 2014 (CST)
For instance, I've uploaded the gold version. Here it is with the Ensign pip:
You can put it into a table or side bar row and just set the background as black to get the same effect.
Here's Sabor as a commander for instance, by inserting the following table within the sidebar:
{|style="background:black; width:100%" cellpadding="0" cellspacing="0" | style="background:black; height:25px"|[[File:05-Commander-Gold.jpg]] | style="background:black; height:25px" align="right"|[[File:00-Blank-Gold-Flip.jpg]] |}
- Once you make the rest of the blanks I can easily make some templates that people could insert into their sidebar. It'd be as easy to use as Template:Age and Template:USS –Rich(talk page) aka Lt.Cmdr. Rahman 22:37, 10 January 2014 (CST)
- Yeah, I'm expanding the documentation right now, including a handy table of the pips... although it's frustrating that someone mislabeled the crewman pips and didn't name the marine rank pips in the same fashion, so until they get converted, we can't use them for now. Or unless I make another template, but... –Rich(talk page) aka Lt.Cmdr. Rahman 00:09, 11 January 2014 (CST)
- No, they're in the wrong file format. They are currently png's and need to be jpg's like the others. If we do convert them, we should make sure they follow the similar naming scheme and that the current mislabeled crewmen pips are also renamed.–Rich(talk page) aka Lt.Cmdr. Rahman 00:13, 11 January 2014 (CST)
- By all means. –Rich(talk page) aka Lt.Cmdr. Rahman 00:19, 11 January 2014 (CST)
- Actually, use the same file names as these, just with jpg instead of png.–Rich(talk page) aka Lt.Cmdr. Rahman 00:27, 11 January 2014 (CST)
- Before you convert any others, when you move the page or upload a new version, can you make sure to upload it to the new name format. Otherwise, we'll have to go back and fix all the double redirects. –Rich(talk page) aka Lt.Cmdr. Rahman 00:50, 11 January 2014 (CST)
- Sorry if I was unclear. I had meant use the same file name convention as the ones in that table. So:

Don't bother with the Marine pip
Meh, you really don't need to convert them all and rename them if it's too much trouble. The whole idea of the template was to reduce your workload after all! :D If a marine really wants to do the 2 collar thing, they can just do it the long way as I originally posted above. That is:
{|style="background:black; width:100%" cellpadding="0" cellspacing="0" | style="background:black; height:25px"|[[File:G2-e8.png]] | style="background:black; height:25px" align="right"|[[File:00-Blank-Green-Flip.jpg]] |}
Which would give:
It might just be worth it to fix the crewman pips though. –Rich(talk page) aka Lt.Cmdr. Rahman 01:13, 11 January 2014 (CST)
- Yay! Okay, I'm off to bed... take a look at the template documentation now: Template:2collar See if it makes sense and feel free to add whatever notes you want. –Rich(talk page) aka Lt.Cmdr. Rahman 01:36, 11 January 2014 (CST)
These templates are amazing, and yes: they are very awesome. Thank you again. Chythar Daniel Skyfire (talk) 00:43, 22 January 2014 (CST)
