The star Typrycese is an ancient red supergiant, surrounded by the mineral-rich planets and asteroid belts of the Typrycese system. The system is devoid of life, except for the mining operations and the Typrycese Shipyards, owned and operated by the Valcarian Imperial Republic's military, centered around Typrycese VII.
