The Losarians were first encountered on stardate 239601.01, during the Battle of New Year's Day. The USS Columbia while in orbit of Dehner Base was attacked by the Eildyr. More about this battle can be read here.

Home System

  • Proper Name: Losaria
  • Quadrant: Alpha/Beta

Physiology

The few encounters with the Losarians have established them as people with pale blue skin, and their iris and sclera (white of the eye) are the same color. [1] However, there was a lot of variety within the species. [2] More of their biology will be found out when doctors get the change to scan them.

Society

Government

There was mention of a Central Command. This could be the main body of government on Losaria and their territories.

Technology

The Losarians had access to warp-capable ships with weapons, subspace communications, sensors, transporter and shields systems. They also had a "tachyon field emitter", which could disable or fool ship's sensor systems.[3] They themselves could break through such a field, however their sensors could be disabled with an "ionized nadion pulse".[4]

Military

There was mention of a Royal Navy. This could be the main body of military on Losaria and their territories.

Notable Members

Tarius Kaironn, Captain of the Eildyr - played by Anath G'Renn

Davill, Crewwoman of the Eildyr

Notes

This species has just been encountered. It will be updated once the crew of the USS Columbia learns more. It will not be unlikely that they will encounter the Losarians again, however.
