Quon Jiao-zhi

Major Quon Jiao-zhi is Director of Search & Rescue Operations aboard Starbase 94. He is currently launching an investigation into the sudden loss of contact with the Duster's Range mining colony and the subsequent disappearance of the USS Nimitz.

Information

A career Starfleet Marine, Quon has served through many conflicts, including the Dominion War, the Gorn War and Operation Bright Star. Unlike the stereotypical Marine, Quon is relatively quiet and methodical, two of the traits that earned him his present position as Director of SAR Operations for the Starbase 94 region.

Quon's late wife was a rather well-known artist and several of her watercolour paintings can been seen in the halls of Starfleet Headquaters on Earth. Though Quon was initially against it, their only child, Li-chen has followed in her father's footsteps and joined the Starfleet Marines.
