Background

Tabitha, or Tabby, was born to Jack and Jessica Gard in San Bernardino, CA. When Tabby was 2 years old her mother was killed in a chemical explosion where she worked. Her memories are vague when they come to her mother. But Tabby’s father does keep a single family picture of them out for her to see regularly.

The first two years of her life was spent in sunny California, after her mother’s death, her father Jack thought it best to resume his career in Starfleet and she traveled happily with him.

Jack never told her why they didn’t stay planetside, but it mattered little to the almost Vulcan curiosity Tabby had. The first ship she went on with her father had been a science vessel. But due to the lack of children they transferred ships. The next ship had turned out to be nearly the same. There were children, but they were all much older then she.

Now Miss Tabby finds herself on board the Conny. She hopes this time there are other children to play with and to be able to make friends.

Her favorite room, she calls the “Star Room.” holds special meaning to her. He father would regularly bring her down to the stellar cartography room and call up various planets, telling stories from history and on occasion fables.
