The voting procedures in this new article would also replace bylaw 3. The above is how we run votes nowadays regardless of the old constitution and bylaws. (eg A major change being that no discussion is allowed after the voting period opens and the discussion period ends) And (I feel) this all needs to be reflected and made official in a new constitution. -- Rocar, 6/16/06

== Removing Magistrate Document information ==
I removed the information that is present in the [http://www.starbase118.net/members/taskforces/command/cc/magistrate/guidelines.php magistrate document], as I believe that document is better suited to ''fully'' detail that type of thing. Again, we want to keep the CON conceptual if at all possible, and leave the "details" to other documents. --[[User:FltAdml. Wolf|Wolf]] /[[User talk:FltAdml. Explination

My point in adding this article is to create a logical order of "creation" for the two councils. First, the CON "creates" and defines them in this article, and then their purposes are made clear in the next two articles.

Furthermore, I think it's important to have the voting procedures first, before the two councils are explained.

Please note: this voting procedure is not set in stone -- it's just what I had on file (perhaps from one of the bylaws, or a suggested bylaw?). Just needed a place-holder. So, feel free to edit it. --Webmaster 00:09, 17 Nov 2004 (EST)

Replacing Bylaw 3

The voting procedures in this new article would also replace bylaw 3. The above is how we run votes nowadays regardless of the old constitution and bylaws. (eg A major change being that no discussion is allowed after the voting period opens and the discussion period ends) And (I feel) this all needs to be reflected and made official in a new constitution. -- Rocar, 6/16/06

Removing Magistrate Document information

I removed the information that is present in the magistrate document, as I believe that document is better suited to fully detail that type of thing. Again, we want to keep the CON conceptual if at all possible, and leave the "details" to other documents. --Wolf /talk page 15:54, 16 June 2006 (CDT)
