- My Name is Robert John Powell and I currently play Lieutenant Alexander Richards, Chief science officer of the USS Gemini. I was born in Carshalton hospital, Surrey, England on the 6th of November 1984. In 1989 I moved with my family to a small city called Truro, in Cornwall where I have lived ever since. I have been writing Star Trek PC's since 1997 (2374) but have only been a member of Starbase 118 since 2011 (2388).
- Owing to various health issues in late 2011, I took an ELOA from early 2012 until late 2012. Returning as an Ensign then, I have slowly but surely made my way up the ranks and am currently a Lieutenant. I have served on many different vessels in my time with this fleet and spent some time with some amazing writers, forging stories and forming friendships.
- As to my current real life. At the moment, I am unemployed but actively seeking work. I have aspirations of going to university and studying journalism as I have a real passion for writing, something 118 allows me to do in spades. I live by myself in my own flat and have a solid group of friends I like to socialise with. I am also an avid gamer, with quite an interesting pool of games both in my Steam library and on various DVD's and CD's.
- I am a volunteer moderator (Community Ambassador) in game for a company called Muse who produced the excellent Guns of Icarus Online. When you add this fat and my love of collaborative writing together, I hope you can come to the conclusion that I like close knit online communities.
