• Quarters: Anath and Savok share Senior Officer's Quarters on Deck 3 of the USS Atlantis. The quarters include a small bathroom, a bedroom, a living/work area, a food replicator, an ultrasonic shower, and a personal holographic viewer. Savok has a workstation in the living room and two of his paintings are hanging on the walls of the quarters.

Family Background

Savok is the oldest child of V'Len and Serrol. V'Len was not expected to enter the field of science by her family. Her father was a monk and her mother had previously served in the Vulcan government. She and her siblings spent their childhoods studying the ancient ways of Vulcans and exploring the ancient sites on the planet Vulcan. However, V'Len chose to apply to the Vulcan Science Academy and studied biology. V'Len showed an aptitude for the study of genetics and joined the Vulcan Biology Institute after graduating. She worked closely on multiple projects with her colleague Lyras after arriving at the T'Paal City office of the Vulcan Biology Institute.

Serrol, unlike his wife, came from a family of scientists and academics. He grew up in Kir and grasped complicated logic problems very quickly, even by Vulcan standards. Serrol attended the Vulcan Science Academy and earned a doctorate in statistics. He spent two years working with the Vulcan Expeditionary Group before returning to Vulcan and accepting a job in Vulcana Regar. Serrol and a pregnant V'Len moved to Vulcana Regar, where Savok was born. The family would move again three years later to T'Paal City when the Vulcan Biology Institute closed their campus in Vulcana Regar.

Serrol and V'Len had been betrothed as children by their parents. They married upon reaching adulthood and completing their studies in 2362. Savok was born six years later on Stardate 236805.02. His younger sister T'pril was born almost ten years later in January of 2378. V'Len currently works at the Vulcan Biology Institute with Lyras and Serrol is a curator of the T'Paal City Library. The family currently resides just outside of T'Paal City, a short distance away from the home of the G'Renn family.

	Relationships

Anath G'Renn Wife V'Len worked with Anath's mother Lyras, another researcher at the Vulcan Biology Institute. This is how Anath and Savok first met each other. They attended the same schools, and Savok would often be dragged along for adventures in the deserts of Vulcan with Anath and Alexa Kennedy. Unbeknownst to Anath, V'Len and Lyras had arranged a marriage between the two as many Vulcan parents do. The two went their separate ways for several years with Anath attending Starfleet Academy and Savok attending the Vulcan Science Academy. They were reunited when he was assigned as a civilian researcher to the USS Blackwell. The couple married in 2396 during their time on the USS Columbia and now live together on the USS Atlantis.

V'Len Mother V'Len is a geneticist working at the Vulcan Biology Institute. She is a proponent of the traditional Vulcan way of life and followed most Vulcan ceremonies and traditions. In accordance with the old traditions, she and her colleague Lyras arranged for her son Savok and Lyras' daughter Anath to be married in the future.

Serrol Father Serrol is a quiet scientist who favors research in a laboratory setting and maintained a large reference library in the family home. Savok would utilize the library frequently during his academic career for personal enrichment reading. Many have remarked on the many similarities between Serrol and Savok, including a fascination with Vulcan art genres.

T'pril Sister T'Pril was born a few years after the Dominion War, born in January of 2378. She has studied the V’tosh ka’tur and Vulcan emotional repression practices, and does not follow the traditional interpretation of the Teachings or Surak. She is a gifted musician and was recently accepted into the Aldebaran Music Academy. While Savok is concerned that T'pril may be negatively impacted by loosening her grip on her emotions, he supports her all the same.

Ule Varr Colleague Ule Varr is a Bajoran zoologist. He was part of an expedition to the Janitza Mountains conducted between the Vulcan Science Academy and the University of Bajor. Varr recognized Savok's aptitude at field work and recommended that he consider looking for assignments outside of the VSA campus. Savok would eventually take this advice and reconnect with his future wife Anath G'Renn. Savok and Varr still collaborate and correspond frequently.
