Diminutive, large-craniumed genderless humanoid race with lilac skin, the [[ma:Bynar|Bynars]] are heavily integrated into their planetary computer network, which is the backbone of their society. Over time their interconnection with their world's master computer has grown to the point that their language and thought patterns have become as close to binary as is possible for organic beings. In fact, their very lives depend on this interaction with the master computer, as well as with one another. Bynars live and work in pairs and converse entirely in binary code with the assistance of neural implants and waist mounted buffers. Their home star experienced a massive electomagnetic pulse in 2364 and required the massive computer core of a [[ma:Galaxy class|Galaxy class]] starship to restart it.

Diminutive, large-craniumed genderless humanoid race with lilac skin, the Bynars are heavily integrated into their planetary computer network, which is the backbone of their society. Their home star experienced a massive electomagnetic pulse in 2364 and required the massive computer core of a Galaxy class starship to restart it.
