With reconstructive surgery it is possible to conceal a person's true race. However reconstructive surgery on an entire platoon or company is not always an option time or facilities wise. The drug, Mylar II, causes the top layers of skin and flesh to become more pliable. Thus with Mylar II injections a human could easily appear to be a Romulan or Vulcan. There is a limit to what these injections can do. A Mylar II Cardassian would take a few hours, be quite painful and require the use of some prostectics. None of these disguises will fool a medical tricorder or a very detailed inspection. AcetylcholineBiochemical substance, a neurotransmitter that promotes the propagation of electrical impulses from one nerve cell to another in carbon-based life. Julian Bashir used a medication designed to increase acetylcholine absorption to increase Melora's tensile muscular strength, thus enabling her to walk ("Melora" [DS9]). Increased amounts of acetylcholine in Harry Kim's nervous system caused him (and others in the prison camp) to exhibit erratic behaviour ("The Chute" [VOY]). AcinolyathinAn NSAID analgesic used to treat mild to moderate pain and inflammation. AdanineOne of the nucleotides included in the marking sequence that made up the cure to the Founders' disease. AdrenalineAlso known as epinephrine, a hormone and neurotransmitter. It is used to prevent death from anaphylactic shock (severe allergic reaction), or cardiac arrest. It has also been found useful against some radiation poisoning, and has been successful in treating a radiation type that caused hyper-acceleration of the aging process. ADTHA stimulant which can also be dispersed in a gaseous form through the life support system of a typical Federation Starship. AlcoholA chemical that acts as a psychoactive drug with intoxicating effects when consumed, known to be addictive and can result in poisoning when consumed in high quantities. It can also be used as a disinfectant and as an antiseptic gel, though usually only when there are no other options. AlizineA medicine used to counteract anaphylactic shock, specifically in Klingons. AlkysineA drug used to reduce the damage caused to neurological tissue following the event of a catastrophic injury. AmbizineAdministered via hypo spray and used as a fast-acting sedative.. Anabolic SupplementsHelps resist harvester nanobiogenic weapons. Anaerobic MetaboliteA medical substance. For his "cellular entertainment" chamber, Dr. Giger wanted two liters (later said to be five liters) of this, suspended in a hydrosaline solution. Jake and Nog obtained it from Bashir, in exchange for their retrieving Kukalaka from Leeta. Analeptic CompoundUsed to counter the detrimental effects of certain types of radiation, including theta radiation. AnesthezineA fast-acting opioid-based anesthetic. It could be deployed as a gas or administered as a liquid through a hypospray. It took approximately 1.4 seconds for individuals to be rendered unconscious by Anesthezine gas. [1] The effect usually lasted between 2-12 hours, and affected individuals could experience memory lapses after they woke up. [2] It was considered to be one of the best in use by the Federation. Cases of Anesthezine overdose were usually treated with Naloxone. AnetrizineA local anesthetic deployed via a hypospray, typically used to numb specific nerves to remove sensation and induce paralysis. AnimazineA stimulant that could be used to awaken someone from sleep, or keep them conscious for longer durations than naturally able. Anti-Borg SerumDeveloped by Sheila Bailey's team during the attack on the USS Nimitz, the serum is made on a Noroline base with cytokine.[3] The serum actively attacks the nanites, sedating them and the affected individual, as the serum actively corrodes the Borg technology infecting the individual. An average human male infected with Borg nanites require two normal doses for the medicine to take effect, rendering the individual unconscious and its implants rotting into metal dust. AnticoagulantA medicine administered to prevent or reduce the clotting of blood. Anti-intoxicantUsed to prevent inebriation. ArithrazineUsed in extreme cases of theta radiation poisoning, it can also serve as an inoculation. According to Starfleet medical protocol, medical officer should constantly monitor a patient receiving this treatment. AsinolyathinAnalgesic. AsporadineOne of the nucleotides included in the marking sequence that made up the cure to the Founders' disease. AxonolA gaseous anesthetic authorised for use by the Federation as a crowd-control measure.

BenjisidrineAn anti-arrhythmic used to regulate some heart conditions. BenzocyatizineA medication used to treat low isoboramine levels in Trill, which regulated the connection between symbiont and host. BicaridineA strong, addictive, pain reliever used to treat pain from traumatic injuries such as disruptor blasts. Is a known substitute for Metorapan. Biomemetic GelA medical substance, the sale of which is prohibited by Federation law. Even attempting to obtain it is a felony (presumably unless one is a doctor). This is because in the wrong hands, it can be used to make biogenic weapons, to conduct illegal replication experiments, or to develop organic explosives. Altovar attacked Bashir when the doctor caught him stealing it, after having refused to give or sell Altovar some. [Distant Voices] Sisko ordered Bashir to release 85 liters of it, which Bashir did under protest after demanding to see the order in writing. The gel was traded to a source of Garak's in exchange for an optolythic data rod. BolamiteTreatment for Omega radiation exposure. BorathiumAn experimental rybotherapy medication used to replace Leporazine and Morathial.

CaffeineA stimulant consumed in a variety of foods and beverages. If consumed regularly, it can become addictive and can cause side effects such as insomnia, gastrointestinal distress and hypertension. CatelineA drug that can simulate anaphylactic shock when administered. CervalineA drug used to limit rejection of transplanted organs or tissue. ChloromydrideA cardio-stimulatory drug used where Inaprovaline is ineffective or may cause allergic reactions. It is usually used in concert with cardiac and neural stimulators for additional benefits. CordrazineA powerful stimulant primarily used during cardiac arrest, but can also be used to revive a stunned or unconscious patient completely. Use of Cordrazine should be carefully monitored - overdose can lead to delusional paranoia, and the drug is addictive. CordalineA drug Bashir called for when trying to revive Quark. CorophizineAn antibiotic with minimal side effects used primarily in order to prevent secondary infections. Cortical AnalepticAdministered via hypospray, it reinvigorates tissue within the cerebral and motor cortex following disruptions to the neural functions. CortolinA resuscitative drug that was primarily used in reviving patients who have stopped breathing. CortropineA stimulant found in standard-issue medkits which could stimulate the recipient to overcome symptoms of weakness or fatigue. A standard dosage is 5 milligrams. CredilineThis drug makes the user more likely to believe anything that they are told. Its use has been superseded by more effective memory blockers. CryptobiolinUsed to improve the skills of soldiers. CyalodinPoison.

HexadrinMedication used in the treatment of Yarim Fel syndrome ("Ties of Blood and Water" [DS9]). HydrocortileneA general analgesic used primarily for headaches and cranial injuries. A dose of 3% is sufficient for a mild headache, whereas increased doses were necessary for more debilitating injuries, such as concussion. HypercoagulinStops bleeding very quickly. This is unnecessary when using Anabolic Protoplasers, although a version of this drug for localized use on wounds in the field may exist. HyperzineA standard stimulant that can be used to counter seizures. A standard dosage is twenty ccs. HyronalynUsed to counter the effects of radiation poisoning, the efficacy can be enhanced when combined with lectrazine. [4] Hyvroxilated Quintethyl MetacetamineAnesthetic potion. Quark tried to get Bashir to ingest in a drink before the racquetball match with O'Brien.

ImmunosuppressantAny of several pharmaceuticals designed to limit immune response in humanoids. Dr. Crusher used immunosuppressants in 2367 to help William Riker successfully carry the Trill symbiote, Ambassador Odan, within hisbody("TheHost" [TNG]). ImpedrezeneDesigned to help stimulate cardiac function, this drug can also be used to counter the effects of psilocybin. A dosage of 2cc should be followed with osteogenic stimulator ImprovolineA standard sedative that can be used in smaller doses, such as 5ccs, to calm and pacify a patient. Higher doses can be used to keep a patient sedated for longer periods of time. InaprovalineA synaptic stimulant and cardio-stimulant that fortifies the cell membranes and can be used as a preventative measure or in response to various physical illnesses and states to help stabilize a patient. InpedrazineUsed after cranial trauma. Intraspinal InhibitorUsed to induce paralysis.

KayolaneA standard sedeative causes immediate unconsciousness and lasts for 1-6 hours depending on the patient's metabolism. KelotaneA drug typically administered via hypospray that was used to treat severe burns that were caused by high levels of harmful radiation. Ketracel-WhiteUsed to control Jem'Hadar. The isogenic enzyme that the Jem'Hadar are "addicted" to. The supplies are controlled by the Vorta, under the Founders. The Jem'Hadar call it "white" for short. [Hippocratic Oath] One of its active ingredients is uridium bycantizine. Note: in the movie Star Trek: Insurrection, it was mentioned that Ketracel-white had been manufactured by the Son'a. Ketracel-white was also erroneously referred to as a narcotic. A specific genetic defect must be in place before the need for Ketracel White arises. KironideAides in psychokinetic powers.

LectrazineA drug that can be used to stabilise the cardiovascular and renal systems in the event of shock or disruption in normal cardiac functions. If combined with hyronalin, it can be used as for temporary protection from radiation poisoning. A standard dose is twenty milligrams. LeporazineA resuscitative drug with minimal side effects, but should not be administered to a patient with low blood pressure. LexorinA neurotransmitter inhibitor. This drug temporarily diminishes intelligence, but each dose also makes psychic and psionic intrusions harder. Lexorin can also calm excited or agitated patients. In greater dosages than 3 in 24 hours, the patient also begins to lose manual dexterity, as the Central Nervous System begins to lose control of voluntary functions. Lexorin is mildly addictive, and causes the patient to feel overconfident and happy. It is also a drug that could block telephac indeaseable effects, for example alleviate symptoms of malaise and/or multiple personality disorder in those who experienced a Vulcan mind meld[5] , or who carried a Vulcan katra. It is ill-advised to use it on Vulcans who voluntarily carry an extra katra. [6] LosorinUsed to counteract mental disorientation. LytastolanineOne of the nucleotides included in the marking sequence that made up the cure to the Founders' disease.

MacrospentolUsed to improve the skill of soldiers. Makho RootAntidote for the Mugato bite. Makara herbIncreases progesterone levels. Maraji CrystalControlled addictive substance. Masiform DA powerful stimulant that can be used to counteract the effects of poisoning. It has a side effect of an upset stomach in Vulcans. MelorazineA standard sedative that at lower doses can be used to calm a patient, or cause unconsciosness. Standard dosage for unconsciousness is twenty ccs. Memory BlockersThese are used to permanently block specific memories in a patient. This is useful if a patient has seen something unpleasant, or has been exposed to information that may violate the Prime Directive. Memory-BetaThis drug stimulates the users memory. It allows the user to attempt to remember something that has been forgotten. MerfadonA standard sedative that can be rendered inert depending on what other drugs or supplements the patient is taking. Metabolic Reduction InjectionReduces heart rate and bodily functions. MetrazineA drug that can be used to stabilise the cardiovascular system in the event of shock or disruption in normal cardiac functions. MetorapanA formidable pain reliever used to treat more severe injuries. It is very similar to bicaridine, though without the risk of addiction. However it can cause fatal allergic reactions in around 1% of cases. MirazineA drug used to reduce the time necessary for decompression when boarding and leaving starships. MorathialSimilar to leporazine, it can be used as a resuscitative measure without risk to the patient's blood pressure. MorphazinePuts patients into deep, dreamless sleep for 3-18 hours. MorphenologAnalgesic anti-convulsive used primarily in the treatment for chronic pain. It can also be used in conjunction with other medications to reduce painful side effects. Morphogenic EnzymesThere were some residual ones in Odo's brain even though he had become a solid. When the runabout he, Sisko, Dax, and Garak were in encountered a plasma storm, the enzymes were activated, initiating a telepathic response. Odo's mind unconsciously reached out to Link with other Changelings, but only Sisko, Dax, and Garak were there, resulting in their sharing his flashback. Mylar IIWith reconstructive surgery it is possible to conceal a person's true race. These disguises may also require some form of makeup to be complete.

NaloxoneMedicine used to treat overdoses caused by opioid-based compounds. It was possible to use it as an airborne agent to render Anesthezine gas ineffective for a time. It had a shorter half-life than Anesthezine, its effects were considered a temporary solution. [7] Neo-anapaptic transmitterBiochemical neurostimulant. First dose increases heart rate and eases stress of a high gravity. Second dose can lessen natural damage of a phaser blast even set to kill. Neodextraline SolutionLiquid administered intravenously for the treatment of severe dehydration. NetinalineA stimulant that can be used to resuscitate a patient. A standard dosage is 2ccs. Neural ParalyserCauses cessation of heartbeat. Neuroelectrical SuppressorsMedical instrument used to suppress pain. The device that Verad preferred over the delta wave inducer ("Invasive Procedures" [DS9]). Neurotransmitterbiochemical responsible for neural electric energy. NeurovineThis drug is an antidote for nerve poison. Not to be confused with Neurozine. NeurozineA gaseous anesthetic that was fast acting and could be dispensed through the typical environmental control systems on a Federation Starship. Not to be confused with Neurovine. Nogatch HemlockPoisonous substance NorepUsed to revive. 2cc dose derivative of Norepinepherine. NorepinephrineSimilar to adrenaline. Numinol Tetramidaphin20 cc's were given by Bashir to Vargas to relieve fever and congestion.

Takaria HerbsA Bajoran herbal medication which Bashir gave O'Brien for Kira's swollen ankles. He said she would need to dissolve them in fruit juice before ingesting them. TerakineAn analgesic often used to ease the pain from broken bones and similar injuries. TesokineA drug used to facilitate cross-species surrogacy by allowing a baby from one species to properly metabolize the nutrients from another species while in the womb. TessikidePresumably a Bajoran hormone. Bashir was going to inject high doses into Kira to enable the O'Briens' baby to metabolize Bajoran nutrients. TetrovalineA medical drug that renders a person unconscious, but also lowers immune response. TheragenInitially developed by the Klingons as a nerve gas, when diluted with alcohol, this drug can be administered to deaden nerve inputs into the brain, resulting in a calming effect on the patient and a reduction in emotions such as anxiety, stress and aggression particularly in severe cases. TrianolineA medicine used to help patients with percussive injuries in very small doses; 0.4ccs is sufficient for a concussion. TricordrazineA highly potent stimulant that could be used both to resuscitate and as an anti-seizure medication. However, doses higher than 10ccs were risky. A dose of 25ccs is enough to kill a klingon. Standard starting dosage is 5 milligrams (0.005 ccs). TriglobulinA biogenic substance produced by the Axanar zymuth gland and released into the blood. Triglobulin had certain similarities to Human lymphatic fluid. It is used by some species as an aphrodisiac, though also has been used to produce certain vaccinations and medicines.
