Predictably, our first efforts weren't as productive as I would have hoped. Our undercover meeting with Commander [[Saveron]]'s contact at the [[Romulan]] Embassy recalled for our benefit a long and amiable if sporadic relationship; the [[Romulan]] Empire has apparently prospered thanks to trade with the [[Va Wreth]]. Meanwhile, Doctor [[Skyfire, Chythar|Skyfire]], Counselor [[Moonsong, Raissa|Moonsong]], and Ensign [[King, Ryan|King]] discovered that the [[Community]] also knows of them, with species memories dating back perhaps beyond the rise of the Menthar. However, we weren't much closer to understanding the [[Va Wreth]] themselves, so we set out again -- Skyfire's team to the [[Tholian]]s, who sponsored the [[Va Wreth]]'s bid for representation on [[Astrofori One]], and mine to the [[Peppalexan]]s, who joined the [[Kubarey]] -- though not yet openly -- in opposing the [[Va Wreth]]'s presence. We were still undercover as [[Romulan]]s, and as the [[Peppalexan]]s had not yet formally met that species, our meeting was certain to be an interesting one....
