Backstory

Born to commoners, Ysskaii is one of the first of his kind to attend Starfleet Academy. The Selay only became Federation members about a year before his birth. Ysskaii considers himself a devotee of the god Glycys, who blesses those who dedicate themselves to the invention and development of machines and technology. He has a small shrine to Glycys in his quarters.

He has reported to the Vigilant for his first assignment since Academy graduation.
