-Bit & Byte are a pair of Bynar computer specialists currently serving aboard the USS Indria-A. Bit and Byte are somewhat unique as Byte has specialized into the 'thinker' of the pair growing additional implants to allow his mind to process even faster. These modifications have made him vocally mute though he can easily communicate with Bit or the ships computer. Bit's mind runs somewhat slower to compensate for Byte's modifications and allow him to more easily comprehend normal speech and speak for the pair.
