The current government structure is unclear however it is suggested that Cheyd operate on a system where ones birth dictates a cheyd's role. However it was suggested by Intercessor Ulto'Delarento that one can work their way up to a Government position [2]

The Chey'd communicate using third person pronouns, refereeing to themselves as "this one" and refereeing to someone else as "that one." The first person pronouns such as "you" and "I" are only used to refer to slaves, criminals and undesirables in Chey'd culture.[3]
