Physical Appearance:
Shorter than average with light blonde hair. Off duty, she keeps it long. When on duty or doing something physical she pins it up close to her skull. Her skin is light and fair and her eyes are dark blue. She is a little on the stocky side, but some still consider her attractive.

History:
The daughter of a rich American businessman and an Englishwoman of old money, Eleanor ended up in StarFleet for one reason and one alone: A fascination with starships. With how they operate and how they work. She has primarily pursued an engineering discipline, with this in mind.
Her father, who wished her to take over the family business (she is an only child), disowned her when she entered the academy. She has, by now, almost got over this, and remains on speaking terms with her mother, although the two women do not tell the family patriarch that they are in contact.
At the academy, she developed a bit of a reputation for her sardonic and even sarcastic comments. She enjoys banter and sometimes engages in it when it is not entirely appropriate to do so. She developed few close friendships and, initially, had some problems working with aliens (her father raised her not to be very tolerant, but she's learning).
Psychological Profile:
Has father issues...she feels he is controlling and dominating and wishes she could get him to see 'sense'. Very technically minded, sometimes seeming to prefer the company of machines over that of people. Wicked and sometimes dark sense of humor. Does everything very carefully.
Specialties and Skills:
Good mathematician. Aptitude for both engineering and science. Strong interest in propulsion systems, especially warp. Also interested in astrophysics.

Horse riding, even though it's mostly holo horses these days. English literature, either in text or holosim format, especially Dickens.
