Backstory/Timeline
Tyler was the only child of two very loving parents. As he grew up, Tyler's parents nurtured his ambitions and continuously praised everything he did. In his parent's minds, Tyler could do no wrong. This created a true sense of arrogance in Tyler that he still denies to this day.
At a young age, Tyler developed a deep love for flying vehicles of any type. For his fourteenth birthday Tyler's father arranged for him to get a flying lesson on an actual Starfleet shuttlecraft. This gift furthered Tyler's love for flying and cemented in his mind that he would one day be a Starfleet captain. On his eighteenth birthday, Tyler applied to attend Starfleet Academy and was accepted to enroll the following fall.
