All things appear normal, but when the Apollo drops out of the slipstream all bridge stations are locked out and just display an Omega symbol. Close-by, there is a war raging between Boreia III and Boreia IV who have been at war for years. The conflict started over trade agreements, but soon turned to war. In the race to develop destructive weapons, one scientist has come close to harnessing an Omega weapon. The Apollo is one of the special ships that can be tasked to neutralize Omega particles and the crew must race against time, and place themselves in the middle of a war, to carry out their mission. It almost looked like things were going well, when the Borg appear, having discovered the particle as well. To avoid the worst part of the crew neutralizes the particle while the ship engages in battle with the borg cubes with the help of their Marine fighters. Just when the Particle is neutralized, the Apollo loses the bottle and is evacuated for auto destruct. While one cube was destroyed during the battle, the other is destroyed in the explosion of the ship. Luckily the crew was able to get away before that happened. </ins></div></td></tr>
