Zaren Dre was born on earth but has no affinity with it. He enrolled in the trill initiate program at the age of 18. He failed the tests but in all field tests he passed with a 100. So he passed and joined with Dre at 22. He then enrolled in starfleet and failed the final test. So was sent to Starbase 118 for a field test that he passed; He was promoted to Ensign and is currently serving on the USS Mercury.
