A very vague race of non-humanoid creatures scattered throughout space whose home-planet is unknown.

Name

  • Proper Name: Temporazoid
  • Pronunciation: Tehm-Porr-Ah-Zoid

Home

The home of these creatures is unknown; however, most are found in the Delta Quadrant adrift. Some were found and taken refuge.

Rumor

Some people say they evolved on El-Auria and when the Borg came to assimilate they wouldn't assimilate because of their DNA. Once the planet was destroyed they were left to die for. Some even say the parasite originated from El-Auria.

Biology

Physiology

Temporazoids are four legged two armed aliens. Some consider them humanoid because their upright torso. They also have a hammer head shark typed cranium with two big bright eyes. Two long arms and long extremely fine thin tentacles for fingers. Their skin color is dark violet. They have a neon illuminated vein on their neck which provides energy for multiple things. They also have four rows of teeth on the top and bottom; eight in all.

Eyes and Immunity

Temporazoids have the ability to see like a Starfleet tricorder. For a short period of time they can see the molecule structure of any living thing. They can also see anything infrared or ultraviolet, but only for a short period of time. Temporazoids are also immune to Borg assimilation due to their DNA caused by a parasite inside them, also making their skin purple, can fight the Borg nano-probes and ultimately resist assimilation.

Astral Projection

One of their most fascinating characteristics is their ability to cast an astral projection of themselves. They can only cast one, and it can only last for sixty minutes. If cast longer then the original form will die instantly and the astral form will disperse into the air. However, there are consequences when this astral projection is cast; After the astral form is returned to the original, within sixty minutes, the original will suffer a temporarily ten hour comma.

Weakness

As you noticed the neon illuminated vein on their neck, this is their weak spot. Anything strong enough, such as a phaser set to stun, that hits the vein and makes it burst the Temporazoid will no longer be immune to Borg Assimilation, see molecule structures/infrared/ultraviolet things, or being able to cast an astral projection of themself.

Psychology

Temporazoids have no known telepathic or empathic powers, but they are known to be incredibly intelligent. When Temporazoids sleep, they do not dream. Most of their emotions are similar to Humans.

Additional Information

It is still undecided whether the Temporazoids had a government, religion, or military. Many people believe if they did, they supported the El-Aurians and stayed hidden most of the time.

Due to their four legs, Temporazoids can not sit in humanoid chairs. After many scientific research it has been decided that their legs do not get tired and they do not require sitting. Temporazoids do not sleep like humanoids. Their sleeping style is similar to a Human horse sleeping.

The thin tentacle like fingers are very helpful for Temporazoids because they do not have strong Human-like bones in them. Their bones in their fingers are very flimsy, much like an octopus' arm.

The rudest insult to a Temporazoid is calling them a "crustacean". If called by this, many Temporazoids either get extremely angry or really sad. Many people call them crustaceans because of there unique and complex appearance.

Body Parts

1 Heart 3 Lungs 2 Livers 2 Large and Small Intestines (The number of body parts remain the same as Humans)

Federation Intelligence Files

Not too many Temporazoids have been found, but from the ones that are found hardly ever choose a career in Starfleet. Many choose to be refuges and isolate themselves because of their appearance. There has been only one known Temporazoid known to enroll in Starfleet Academy and this is Flix Shorfule.
