Lieutenant Skyleena Blake, otherwise known as "Sky" or quite simply "Blake", a Brekkian Betazoid hybrid, is currently the Chief of Security aboard the USS Mercury. She is also pregnant with her first child.

She previously served aboard the USS Ronin and USS Challenger-A in the Security department (for both vessels) prior to the Mercury.

PERSONAL INFORMATION

Personality

• Has a telepathy rating of T4 Long Range Uncontrollable, though her telepathy has lately been fading in and out and is almost completely unreliable for some unknown reason.

• A habit of speaking out of turn seems to be her worst enemy. She is quick to assume or become aggressive, and seems to require an explanation for orders. However, she becomes extremely protective of herself or her crew when she believes they have been threatened, and will stop at nothing to ensure the safety of herself or others.

• Has a lot of confidence in her officers, but still tends to keep a firm hand around them. Lieutenant Sabor, her new Armory Officer, remarked that the Armory was "dusty". In return, she said that no one was out of line to clean it.

• Length of Hair: Recently cut. Neck length and wavy.

• Birthmarks, Scars, Tattoos: Scar on her lower back from a dagger piercing her spinal cord.
• Build: Athletic and curved, 3 months pregnant
• Taste in clothing (Off Duty): Has yet to be seen in something other than her uniform.
• Taste in clothing (On Duty): Has a taste in the long field jacket, but only wears it on away missions. Wears StarFleet uniform just like everybody else.
• Voice: Is in the middle range of an alto and a soprano.

Manner

• Habits: Sky has the unfortunate habit of back-chatting most of her superiors. Also tends to throw knifes at people when in a bad mood - hence there is a wooden board set up in her quarters, of which she apparently uses as target practise.
• Religion/Spiritual Devotion: Norssian
  • Has a laid back attitude to her religion. Noree is supposedly the religion's idea as a "god", though she has also referenced Skyleena once or twice.

Workplaces

• Mercury Strategic Operations Office - Security Office
  • A smaller part of the larger Strategic Ops Office, the Mercury Security office is smaller than that of the Ronin's Security office, which was a rather big change for Sky. This office is also bare, except for the countless PADDs that are stacked up in the corner (some on her desk), waiting for Sky to read them.

Family

Father

Rex Blake, Sky's father, was a full Brekkian, and was a Seritonian scientist. The relationship between Sky and Rex was not even there, as Rex believed Sky was a specimen of his (she was, at that time, the only Brekkian Betazoid hybrid on record), and dedicated himself only to his work. Although living with her parents for sixteen years, Sky barely knew Rex.

Rex was killed during the Seritonian bombings (in the area of Kekorna), one of thousands who died throughout the Brekkian country - he met his death in a Science facility, along with other fellow scientists who worked there. In Rex's will, all of the research Lila and Rex had collect on Sky was all handed over to her, possibly in an attempt to help her with Faith's biology, but no one will ever know why.

Mother

Lila Cole, Sky's full Betazoid mother, is currently somewhere on Betazed, and her reasons to be there are unknown. Sky originally didn't get along with her mother, until she joined StarFleet Academy - of which time her mother went after her to talk with her. Opposite to her father, Lila actually cared about her daughter's whereabouts and her wellbeing. She managed to get their relationship to the point where Sky would communicate with her every day, and Sky would tell her what’s on her mind. The two now have a good relationship. When she can, Lila likes to keep tabs on her only granddaughter, practically demanding images and time to talk to her, and Sky is happy to oblige. When Sky told her she would have not one, but two grandchildren, Lila was ecstatic. She wrote letters to Sky to keep in touch, and Sky continuously wrote back until her supposed death on stardate 239104.19.

Spouse

• Deven Zell: Still working out the kinks.

• Past Relationships
  • Alixis Ozera: Was in a stable relationship with Alix, until he suddenly disappeared without a trace on stardate 238902.19.
  • Diego Herrera: Neither of them could bring themselves to admit that they love each other. Unfortunately, Diego was told to report back to Earth, with Sky to report to the Ronin. The goodbye was short and difficult, but Sky has the feeling that he won't contact her any time soon.
  • Rowan Sullivan: A fling that lasted only a night. The two still talk to each other, but it is difficult to keep up with Rowan. Sky may not admit it, but she was actually torn over him and the very short physical relationship he presented. She promised herself that she wasn't going to do it again.
  • Carina (?): Apparently the start of her sexual relationships, Carina was her first, and currently only, bisexual relationship.

She is currently three months into pregnancy with her first child.
