	Biography Lani was born to George Cahill and Lani Anne Thornhill in small town outside Washington D.C., Virginia, but she grew up on Vulcan where her parents worked for the Vulcan Science Academy as doctors. Her mother specialized in genetics, helping develop vaccines for various diseases currently incurable. Her father was an xenobiologist studying the animal life and fauna of Vulcan. Lani followed in her parents footsteps when she went to Starfleet Academy. When she was 22 years of age, her father died from an animal mauling when he was studying le-matya in the foothills of L-langon Mountains near Vulcans Forge. A few years later, Lani's mother remarried a Vulcan doctor named Dr. Rilek, whom she has known for years. When asked why he married Lani Anne, he responds, "It was logical." This union gave Lani two step siblings, twin brothers named, Telik and Suran. When she turned 24, she met her husband who was studying archeology at the college in San Francisco. They met at a local pub when she was out with a group of cadets on R & R. They soon became inseparable and married two years later. She gave birth to their daughter, Elizabeth Anne, in 2391. They have plans to have another baby in the future . It was an easy delivery and both her and her baby came out of the experience just fine. Her daughter is healthy, with red hair (where the red hair came from no one knows, but her mother has red hair and her great grandmother was a full redhead). She is a somewhat tall human woman (although she is still tiny when standing next to her husband), with dark auburn/brown hair and eyes, classic gentle features, slender physique. She loves to read, shop and enjoys a nice walk around the colony whenever she gets a chance. Chocolate is her favorite food. She's shy at heart, but once you get to know her, she opens up. She enjoys having good conversations about things that matter...whether it's history or it's something going on in life. She also enjoys art and will sometimes spend hours of free time working on a painting just to relax. When she needs to blow off steam, she goes shopping…

His father taught archeology and anthropology to undergraduates as an elective. His mother taught quantum physics and string theory. The family were stationed at Starfleet Academy for six years before moving to Vulcan to serve in the Vulcan Science Academy in an interchange program. When Ramius came of age, he followed in his parents footsteps and became an instructor at Vulcan Science Academy. He currently lives with his in-laws and daughter on Vulcan while he teaches archeology and anthropology to Vulcan students. Lani was home visiting her mother and stepfather when she went into labor in Sha'kahr. Elizabeth Anne was named after Lani's favorite historical characters and figures. Elizabeth was chosen in honor of Elizabeth Bennett from Pride and Prejudice. Anne was chosen to honor Anne Boleyn, one of Lani's favorite historical figures. Elizabeth takes after her namesakes by being stubborn, pretty and intelligent. She's two years old. Her favorite pet is her tribble. And her favorite pass time is tugging on her grandfather's pointy ears.
