At the end of the Dominion War, the USS Eagle's repair work was put on hold as other repair work had higher priority. Between that and other factors it was years before they actually started the repairs. Once they finally started the work it progressed very well but it's launch was delayed by a recurrence of a computer system failure. Correcting this problem took more time.
Now finally they have finished all the repairs and Captain Dayden Taboo has been assigned to command the USS Eagle on it's new mission as of stardate 238501.07.
