USS Atlantis Mess Hall - The Trident

The Mess Hall of the Atlantis, known as the Trident, is a communal dining area aboard a starship. The mess hall on Intrepid Class vessels are located on Deck 2, section 13, and feature several large forward-looking windows. Although food service in most mess halls is provided solely by several food replicator terminals, some crews opt for installing a makeshift kitchen, where they can use plants grown in the airponics bay or foraged on planets to design their own culinary dishes to supplement replicator use. That was made on the Voyager through it's travel home, but was adopted for deep space explorations as a possibility and proved useful to improve the morale of the crew.
