Adding a Character who doesn't have an ID subpage

You should create an ID subpage for each character you wish to add to your crew navigation template.

However, there may be times when you wish to add a character to a crew navigation template who does not have an ID subpage, such as if you are creating a crew navigation template for an NPC ship. Follow the instructions below.

Adding the Officer

  • OFFICER NAMES are written in the following format:
{{No ID Tile Officer|CHARACTER NAME|UNIFORM COLOR|CURRENT POST}}

Example:

{{No ID Tile Officer|Tenzin Zhou|Teal|Medical Officer}}

Medical Officer
Tenzin Zhou

Adding a Portrait

To add a portrait for the officer, add the file name of their portrait to the end of the listing.

{{No ID Tile Officer|CHARACTER NAME|UNIFORM COLOR|CURRENT POST|ROSTER IMAGE (Optional)}}

Example:

{{No ID Tile Officer|Danielle Vistain|Gold|Engineering Officer|Roster-vistain.jpg}}

Roster-vistain.jpg
Engineering Officer
Danielle Vistain

Manually adjusting the image

The template will automatically crop and resize the image for you. However, you can manually tweak the crop and resizing by adding up to three additional variables after the image name.

{{No ID Tile Officer|Tyr Waltas|Red|Commanding Officer|Tyrcapt.jpg|10|20|1.5}}

Commanding Officer
Tyr Waltas
  • The first number moves the image up that number of pixels.
  • The second number moves the image to the left that number of pixels.
  • The third image zooms the image that many times from the original automatic crop.

Colors

Use these color names, including capitalization.

Red, Gold, Blue, Teal, Violet, Black, Silver, Green

Use Nickname

If the character's name is too long for the tile, you can add NICKNAME= to display the character's nickname instead.

{{No ID Tile Officer|Cassandra Egan Manno|Red|Mission Cmdr.|NICKNAME=C. Egan Manno|Roster-eganmanno.jpg}}
