M’met: “Our sect found the shuttle 5 minutes after witnessing its drop from the sky. We are a kind race. Our value to the galaxy is our medical knowledge. We rushed to the point of impact, knowing there must be wounded. There was a woman still alive. She was carrying a child within her. The child was five days in her womb. She would have wanted the child to live; to find its father some day. So we harvested the fetus to nurture it. The woman died. She was badly injured. *sigh* So badly wounded. The child was taken to SB 457 then to Tiberius IV where she was cared for at a Starfleet residential home. Her parentage was investigated, her father identified and the file sealed.
Susan became an exceptional medical student and entered the Starfleet Academy after two years at the San Francisco Medical University.
