Father Betazed Politician Age 75 Loros Taybrim
- Loros Taybrim is a quiet, studious man. Born from a long line of civil servants, he is something of an idealist. Never an over-achiever, Loros is the sort of man who craves stability over limelight, and always put his family before his career. He has a somewhat strained relationship with his wife, Brenna due to the fact that he was never able to live up to her expectations. He is, however, the hero and gentle voice of advice and guidance for all three of his sons.

Mother Pediatrician Medical Institute of Betazed Age
70 Brenna Taybrim
- Brenna Taybrim was born to the upper middle classes of Betazed. Her family boasts many scholars, doctors and educators. A skilled telepath and a respected physician, Brenna greatly increased her husband’s social standing with their marriage. Early in her life Brenna lost her imzadi, Jethrin Kirlal – a Starfleet engineer – while he was on duty. Two years later she settled for settling down with Loros Taybrim. While Brenna is a devoted mother to her three sons, she has never quite outgrown her contempt of Starfleet or her disappointment in Loros for not living up to the memory of her beloved.

Brother Starfleet Medical officer aboard the USS Della Nova Age 48 Kirin Taybrim
- Kirin is a skilled surgeon, specializing in neurochemistry and cryosurgery. Something of a rebel, Kirin always gave a hang what his family thought of Starfleet. He has a warm, friendly, boisterous personality. Seen as a 'father figure' by most of the doctors and nurses on the Della Nova, Kirin has settled into a long term relationship with his Academy friend Genvieve Williams. Unfortunately he is putting marriage on hold until he can convince his mother that marrying a Terran woman for love is more acceptable than being called back to be joined with a Betazoid woman for social standing. There is that little matter of Genvieve being pregnant that Kirin hasn't told anybody yet...

Brother Psychiatry specialist working for the Federation medical institute Denobula Triaxia Age 45 Landin Taybrim
- Landin inherited all of his mother's telepathic skill and most of her neuroses. A shy, academic man, Landin likes to throw himself into his work to avoid too much draining social interaction. Landin enjoys dealing with people one-on-one by avoids large crowds and big parties. Growing up Landin was the most focused and academic of the three brothers, favoring reading or research over sports or parties. He was often the mediator of family disputes. Landin is close to his mother, Brenna. He is married to Elanna Taybrim, a Betazoid social worker - this was an arranged marriage by both families.

Notable Relationships
Friend Age 38 Chythar Skyfire
- Chythar Skyfire and Sal Taybrim met during the Agurtha mission, bonding in the aftermath during counseling sessions. But it was not until Sal was transferred to the Darwin that the two realized they had a deeper bond than simply counselor-patient. Keeping in touch over subspace, it was a joyous reunion when Sal was reassigned to the Excalibur. The two ended up forming a telepathic bond and consider one another as close as brothers. To this day, they still keep in touch.
