Personal History
Rocco was born and raised in New York City on the North American continent of Earth. His parents, Geno and Maria, are mechanics who repair short range shuttles. Because of his parents' work, Rocco was always around propulsion systems and he developed a curiosity in Engineering because of it. He joined Starfleet Academy because he wants to know more about Transporter technology. He would like to be the transporter chief on an exploratory vessel someday. To that end, he focused as many elective courses as possible on transporter technology and theory.
In his spare time, Rocco plays the accordion. He learned the instrument as a child and coincidentally made several Klingon friends in high school because of it. They formed a garage band playing Klingon Acid Punk music. As a result of these friendships, he's speaks conversational Klingon and has participated in several Klingon customs.
