Personal History

Reade spent his childhood moving from cityscape to cityscape on earth. His father was a freighter captain which left many nights alone with his mother and younger brother on earth. At the age of 14 he spent a year in space with his father onboard his freighter, serving with the small crew he showed an aptitude for machines and was used to crawl into some of the harder to reach spots with the ships engineer. Soon after his father sold his ship to live with his mother, but Reade wasn't done with space. Reade originally looked to sign onto another freighter but had little luck which lead to his decision to join starfleet. He went to the academy and was almost held back his first year. Reade was having troubles with discipline and was having troubles with his early coursework. Eventually with some help Reade was able to graduate despite his troubles and found that he was an excellent engineer. Currently Reade is looking to expand his skills and is looking forward to his first "Real" posting.
