Ossa V'Airu is an officer of the Federation Starfleet, currently assigned as commanding officer of the USS Nashira. She served as a tactical officer and an operations officer early in her career, and she served as a starship commander with the Eighth Fleet during the Dominion War.
Commodore V'Airu appears to be fully Vulcan at first glance, though her black Betazoid eyes give her heritage away. Following her parents' example, she is not a follower of Surak and practices little traditional Vulcan philosophy.
