Kidman I is a small M-class planet located in the Kidman system toward the Tholian border of the Shoals, located in the Gallipoli Sector. It was located and surveyed for use by Keyri Largew. Newly settled in 2395, Kidman I's only settlement (Bupirninyirring) is in that of the planet's southern hemisphere, the only cleared land suitable for modern living standards. It's primary purpose to care for livestock and harness solar energy, producing resources for neighbouring systems.[1] It also hosts a Starfleet communications booster, set to create a significantly more stable subspace network in certain parts of the Shoals and run general planetary scans.[2]
