Kalin is a good man, with a strict formation, but lived long to know that the things ussually don't were good or bad, so he has an open mind to the others. He's respectful about his powers 'cause they're growing and don't want to loose control on them. Usually kind with the people, he reserved his personal feelings for the closest friends and specially for his sister. He likes to Horse riding and is beginning to learn fencing. He uses to read before sleep and relax practicing different kinds of smooth martial arts as Tai chi.

PERSONAL HISTORY
Kalin Terpes was born in the Ullian system. He was raised in one of the families that make the memories recopilation of other species to make a memorie library. This gave Kalin the opportunity to travel through the galaxy meeting many species. His father was Telnok and his mother Miransh that work together for the memory library of Ullia. He had a sister named Maiman 10 years younger than him. They have a strong relationship that didn't suffered with the distance of Kalin in the academy. He raised living a good life in his home planet, having no dificulties and all he needed in his childhood. He learned the basics to control his power in his planet, due to the work of his fathers on him. His fathers wanted him to become a part of the team recovering memories but Kalin realized that this wasn't what he wanted to do all his life, so he applied for the starfleet in order to live new experiences and meet other species and learnt about them. He applied to the starfleet and passed on the first attempt what make him believe that he'll be able to do it in the academy. He passed the two first years of the academy without many problems and with good scores, the third was a little bit more difficult and the fourth was really hard to him, what make him realize that being a starfleet officer wasn't an easy thing, and discovered that he would enjoy the starfleet, but managed to pass and be ready for the final exam. He passed his last training on the academy and continue training himself on his own mental powers as well as his physical strength. He's beginning to feel uneasy about his sister and his mother as strangely his sister was moved with his mother to a distant planet when Ullians didn't leave the planet 'till the adult age. After discovering that she's kidnapped he requested some LOA to search for her that was granted. However after a year searching he had to resign his commision to spend his full time to recover her.
PROFESSIONAL HISTORY
After being graduated from the Academy he was assigned to the USS KODIAK, under the command of Admiral Hollis. After his first mission, the Kodiak went to repairs and he served on the USS TRIUMPHANT. There he helped to rescue an investigation team and also helped the Diktrikans to avoid an invasion from an alien culture named Herpetites whom kidnapped some of the crew. Finally thanks to the engineers they can be transported from the Herpetite vessel when they recovered the kidnapped crew. After this mission the crew returned to the repaired Kodiak and their next mission was to find the Bon Amir, pirates on the cardassian space. In the way they helped a cardassian freighter that suffered an ill, but his actions put him temporary on the brigg. Next mission was a mid term exploration of unknown space region searching a good planet to colonize. Systems to scan were Merrie, Perrie and Dominie. While on Perrie, Admiral Hollis with Lt.Cmdr. Perkins, Cmdr. T'Lara and ensigns Haron and Lightfoot, went to inspect Perrie-4 and were lost in a explosion. That make Rhys to make Terpes Acting chief of security during the rest of the mission where they meet a six armed race. One came aboard as ambassador to help with navigation but finally was discovered as an spy with another one, not noticed. Both wear a mechanism that give them the appearance of whoever they wish. Finally the team was recovered and Turen was put in the brigg, in stasis to avoid her to suicide as it did the other spy. Then they returned to SB118 where they had a leave and while on that, he was promoted to Lieutenant junior grade and made Asst. chief of security permanently. After a mission on the Itahassa sector with the Independence and Wallace, where they found a species named Grendellai they returned to DS17 to take a leave and make repairs. There he was awarded with the Barclay Bead by Admiral Hollis and Fleet captain Anassassi and made Chief of Security. After what started like a diplomatic mission on Triceblessed planet of the One Kingdom in the Itahassa region but end in a massive rebellion by the Grendellai that lived there, they managed to stop what could be defined as a civil war and they returned to DS17 where he was promoted to Lieutenant. After that he was put in charge of the investigation of murders on the Cargo ship Pilgrim, lost 50 years ago and some deaths on the station at it's arrival. Kalin with the help of the Kodiak crew find that a Vampire like creature that can turn into a mist to feed himself and took control of others minds, was responsible and commander Rhys Bejain and Admiral Hollis managed to transport him to open space near a star. On finals of 2382 the Kodiak undergo a mission to chart the Aronis sector where after a few weeks they found a kind of klingon colony suposed to be the descendants of a exploring group lost 400 years later. Kalin leaded the away mission to survey if they're really klingons and after that, when he returned to the ship, Rear Adm. Hollis has left leaving Rhys in command with whom they finished the mission. After that, they undergo a mission to help the One kingdom that has problems with one of his deep space station. There they found that the Grendellai rebelled against the Constellites. After some menaces from the representative of the Constellites, Rhys managed to make a treat between the Grendellai and the Star Lord and moved them to a distant planet. After that Kalin took a leave to find his sister and family on stardate 238303.23
