• Notes: One of the most respected actively serving diplomats in the Alpha Quadrant. While on Vulcan, at the request of a noted priest, Torvan engaged in a mind meld experiment that lasted 17 hours. This had the effect of greatly allowing Torvan to experience his emotions, the experiences of his former hosts, and maintain great discipline in the face of adversity while still maintaining his diplomatic skills.

Lan

• Notes: Enjoyed postulating how things fit together in the Universe, similar to the connectivity of the Host and Symbiont of his people. Lan's very in depth posits about the interconnectedness of all things in the universe on both a conscious and subconscious level earned him several awards including a Nobel Prize. Would spend more time thinking and writing than attending other personal duties. This inability to manage his time alienated his family and friends.

Jali

• Notes: Led sort of a "double life". One the one hand, Jali was a caring teacher. After hours, he sought out ways to push himself to the limits of physical endurance. He was able to keep these "hobbies" away from the Symbiosis Committee. Jali was fatally injured after a stunt involving piloting a ship through the space of a binary star. Symbiont rescued and returned to the Trill Homeworld for a new host.
