Jane Mosey is the Chief of Staff for Federation President Narala.

In late 2400, she was greatly frustrated by the actions of Rivi Vataix, the Federation Ambassador to the Delta Quadrant and chief of mission of Amity Outpost, after Vataix willingly submitted herself to judicial punishment by the Paak, a newly discovered species that had just conducted its first warp trials and had captured two Starfleet officers during a botched first contact.

In the aftermath of the situation, a presidential transport was dispatched to Amity Outpost, carrying Mosey and President Narala herself, to discuss the incident and the ambassador's actions in-person with Vataix.
