Personality & Biography

Faarg jav Blanch has very little patience for the hustle and bustle of 24th century life. He is not a man to be rushed, preferring to take his time with whatever task is put before him. He often skirts the line between bluntness and insubordination, which has seen him transferred from assignments before. He longs to retire to Argelius II but his wife- a Starfleet Commodore- has cajoled him into two more years of service before making a final decision.

Sometime prior to him becoming CMO of DS224, he was assigned to the USS San Luis Obispo. During this time he was present for an away team being transported through ionic interference which left a small electrostatic discharge in the skin. Some years later, he conducted an autopsy on a corpse found floating in space near DS224 and upon detecting an electrostatic discharge, recalled his experience aboard the San Luis Obispo. Using that, he was able to deduce that the victim was not beamed into space from Deep Space 224 as nowhere on the station produced ionic interference.
