Daylan enjoys extreme sports often spending her days on the holodeck partaking in a variety of extreme sports, such as rock climbing, snowboarding to mention a few. She also enjoys watching old earth movies, especially from the perion on earth called the 50's and the 60's.
Personal History |
Daylen was born to Nhila & Kalib Daroo in the small province Bilanh neighbouring the province of Tujion. Daylen had a relevantly normal early upbringing attending school and enjoy the simple life in the country. Her father had been a freighter pilot before Daylan was born transporting Felecium from Brekka to Ornara. Not long after her 6th birthday Daylans father decided to take up the life of a freighter pilot once more, doing odd transport jobs for the highest paying client in the Alpha Quadrant. Not wanting to leave his wife and children behind he took them with him.
Daylan informative years were anything but stable. Not having a solid home moving from system to system it was hard for her to form friendships that lasted. Thus, for this reason, she had a close relationship with her brother Shelak.
At times on more dangerous runs, Daylan's father would leave her Mother, brother and herself at various Star bases including DS9 for there own safety, these could last for weeks on end.
The Nomadic lifestyle made it hard for Daylan to form attachments as she knew it wouldn’t be long before they would have to leave again. During there stays at various Starbases Daylan grew fascinated with the Starfleet officers she encountered along her way growing up.
In some part, this was the motivation for her eventual application and acceptance to Starfleet Academy.
Excelling at both military tactics as well as Ships Engineering, Daylen found her passion for combat and putting herself in somewhat “thrilling” situations. Her instructors at the Academy noted her zest for danger and have made a note in her Academy file.

Daylan Daroo is a somewhat introverted but to a certain degree showing extroverted behaviour in certain situations and aspects of her everyday life. This is especially true in her work environment, she excels in tough situations and enjoys problem-solving. Her social life, on the other hand, is somewhat of a train wreck being unable to keep close friends and form more intimate relationships.
She is somewhat of a thrill seeker and can be reckless in certain situations. Through guidance, she has curbed her rash behaviour and learnt to give more forethought before jumping into certain situations.
