Darla comes from a large family with a long history of service in starfleet. Her 4 brothers and 1 sister serve on various ships. Her father and mother are both retired from active service. She was also Miss Teen Europe when she was 16 but was easily defeated for the title of Miss Teen Earth.

She is currently room mates with Anora Bravis.
