Backstory
Chrissy Bennett is a medical technician aboard the USS Independence-A in her late teens. Among her friends are a woman named Carla and Tori Parker, a nurse's assistant, who like Bennett, enjoys gossip.
In 2387, she held a crush on Alleran Tan, a pilot who had recently transferred from the USS Achilles, who was romantically involved with Captain Sidney Riley. After the captain underwent surgery for serious injuries sustained during Operation Bright Star, Parker violated patient privacy protocols and helped Bennett gain access to Riley's medical records, which revealed that the captain's injuries would prevent her from returning to active starship duty.
Then-CMO Tenzin Zhou reported both Bennett and Parker to Starfleet Medical for this violation, and the JAG corps is processing their cases. Once a formal court martial is ready, they will be transferred from the ship to await further judgment. Until then, they are effectively working on probation.
