After returning to Starbase 23 to give the crew a chance to recover from their ordeal on Eden, the USS Avandar returned through the Rabbit Hole to continue it's efforts to explore the new region of space on the other side.
The events of the last mission left their mark on the crew of the USS Avandar, and a stop at Starbase 23 gave them a chance to let off a little steam and take the chance to get to grips with what had happened to them.
