Lieutenant Adelaide "Ash" Makepeace is the tactical officer stationed aboard the USS Veritas.

History

Adelaide Makepeace was born and raised on Esperance.

Makepeace is transferred to the USS Veritas in late 2395 following an attack on her assigned vessel by Tholians when rescuing a group of survivors from the USS Artemis. With their commanding officer Zhou Tai-Sheng seriously injured, and the USS Montreal in tatters, Makepeace chooses to request transfer to the Veritas.

She is assigned to stand guard and watch over Jhalib Ekal when he arrives suddenly aboard the Veritas. With Ekal in poor health and requiring assistance, Makepeace hovers nearby in case he suffers a medical episode. She continues this behaviour when they crash-land on Limbo, and provides him with a voice of reason and comfort when he begins to realize the gravity of his situation and prolonged existence in a time of which is not his.
