"From the stars, knowledge."

To join UFOP: StarBase 118, you do not need to have great knowledge of the Star Trek universe or of the profession your character will be an expert in (e.g., if you want your character to work in the medical field, you do not need to be an expert in medicine). However it adds depth to a character if you do know the main components of a warp drive, or if you know when its best to use a neural stimulator over an alpha wave inducer.

To that end, we have provided a number of resources for both the well-versed Star Trek fan and the completely new-to-Trek player. This area is constantly expanding, and we will continue to add more articles as often as we can.
