The USS Ronin is an Akira class vessel commissioned during the later days of the Dominion War. Like all Akira Class vessels, the Ronin is a heavily armed cruiser that was originally geared for combat orientated missions but since the end of the war she has transitioned to peacetime duties that maximize the ships versatile capabilities. Newly refitted prior to the ships deployment to the Alpha Isles, the Ronin is capable of a broad spectrum of mission profiles and can be adapted to specific purposes with minimal yard time.
